Evaluation of film poster

What you did?

What i did was, i added a creature into the background, so it looked more haunting and then i added the caption "Did something follow you home", so that when you see it you would think that there might be something there also when you walk back in the dark you get the feeling you are being followed. I have made the shadow human-like so it looks real and not just a circle. I then put a skull in the title so it would look like its part of a signature title. I've put skulls around it so it looks like something has happened and i have made it so it glitches, looking like somethings going on and so the quality of the images stays the same. I have made the credit block smaller because it's not important. I have made the colour scheme black, grey and white and i have put a bit of red and blue, both contrasting colours and they are there to highlight certain parts and bits you don't see too well, same with the white. I then changed the the credit block colour and centralised it and moved it so it was under my title, i also moved the tagline down and made the title a bit smaller, so if it was printed the edges wouldn't get cut off. I also made the face and hand of the main image lighter, by using the exposure tool. I also added a red light to the image so it would be clearer.

What you planned to do?

I planned to put a person in the middle, with hands around him and a black background and mist around it originally and make it look more like the conjuring, where the person is in the middle and there is stuff surrounding them, different things that are in the film, which is what i wanted to do and make him have a scared look and look like he's being dragged backwards. I also planned to make the title different, but i didn't know what to put for it so i put one of the big things that happen in it, where they come from another place, like the other side. I also planned to show the face of the main character more and have the body go into the background so it looks like he's disappearing onto the other side. I also planned on making the colours black, grey and white and not have any other colours except the ones on his clothes, but that wouldn't be shown that much, since it would be disappearing into the darkness.
